Ok, I'm finally opening up the Kickstarter for my Cha'alt After Dark collection of adventures.
Exactly what you've come to expect from Cha'alt - eldritch, gonzo, science-fantasy, post-apocalypse - but these scenarios are even sleazier!
The first 2 adventures, Cha'alt After Dark and So Beautiful, So Dangerous, are already 90% written. That's why I only did a 20-day crowdfunding campaign.
And once this KS has been fulfilled, I'm going all-in on the next edition of Encounter Critical (kickstarting that in August).
If you have any questions, suggestions, comments, or anything else, let me know. Also, please share the Cha'alt After Dark Kickstarter campaign on social media.
Thanks,
VS

ReplyDeleteHeya,
ReplyDeleteBacked your ks, naturally, but came here to comment mostly to bring to your esteemed attention the Hell that has broken loose due to bare buttocks seen in a possible cover art for Savage Rifts Atlantis kickstarter. I would find it kinda hillarious that people loose it due to something that is a common sight on beaches everywhere if not for the very real possibility that Pinnacle might cavein under the pressure from the tech & pitchfork wielding masses.
I just don' t get people so easily offended.
Do they want the book burned? What's Pinnacle going to do, recall all the books with a butt showing and burn them?
DeleteWhen people start talking about that, feel free to interject with the Cha'alt After Dark kickstarter. Give them a taste of real sleaze!
Well, since the book is still in ks phase and has not been printed yet they cannot burn them yet either. But it seems, sadly, that they may be considering changing the cover. The whole thing is, to me atleast, quite ridiculous, in that how big of a deal this cover seems to be, but on the other hand it is a sad example of the cancel culture that has gained ground.
DeletePeople are refusing to buy physical copies of the book due to the cover, or so they claim atleast, and so on. Since the debate about the matter was glogging their ks discussion Pinnacle moved the action to their olen forums, easier to moderate.

In case someone is interested in reading a bit more on the subject.
