Crowd-Sourcing Awesome

My brain is usually working on a dozen different things all at once, but Cha'alt is a huge project and GaryCon is coming up, and I also need to finish off a couple things from awhile back.

I'm feeling creatively blocked.

So, I'm throwing these questions out in hopes that you guys will respond with some inspiring awesomeness. Here goes nothing!

  • There's a small orange cube and a small blue cube, both magical, (possibly thinking of order vs. chaos) what do the cubes do?
  • If I produced a sequel to Dead God Excavation, what would you want to see?
  • Where would you like me to take the last part of the THOT trilogy?

Ok, that's it for now.  Thanks!

  1. Touching one of the cubes will allow you to experience a lifetime of pain and suffering in mere moments. What do you learn from that? Touching the other cube will take away your suffering. What did you lose? No one knows which cube does which thing until you touch it. Touching both at the same time has an unpredictable result.

  2. Food for THOT... premise beach: Smokey and Bandit type Kessel Run with Little Enos and Big Enos hiring the characters to bring a touchy "cargo" from one end of patrolled space to the other... Sheriff Bufford T. Justice not included...

    1. That reminds me of the SNL Smokey and the Bandit re-release, where Yoda was in the passenger seat. Haha!

  3. Dead God sequel... more of the same - 0 level grindhouse funnels that kickstart a campaign, maybe the release of more elder things, maybe witnessing the death of an elder thing and cleaning up the cultist messes left behind.

  4. Blue and orange are the colours of the portals in the Portal 1 and Portal 2 computer-games. Is there a relation? Do you toss both of them against surfaces to make a portable-hole link between places (and manually pull them off surfaces later to reposition)?

    1. I don't know anything about Portal 1 or 2, so it's just a coincidence.

  5. Modron eggs. Mess with them and you might find hundreds of ridiculous filler monsters popping out of a portal in space/time to mess you up and reclaim the eggs.
