Favorite Pop-Culture Reference

 

I've decided to make this into a contest.  

Comment below with your favorite pop-culture reference from either Cha'alt or Cha'alt: Fuchsia Malaise and you'll be in the running to win a free hardcover of the latter (within the USA, otherwise it's $35 if you live outside the USA).

I'll randomly roll for the winner at midnight tomorrow, January 11th.  I'll post the winner's name on the 12th and you'll have 48 hours to email me your info (like mailing address).

    My favorite is the encounter with the Feminist inside the Frozen Violet Demon Worm. Giving her grief should be defined as simply "disagreeing with her." lol.

    The Goldschäger Ooze is a great encounter with soooo much roleplaying opportunity. Greed vs informatione vs former experience with oozes... awesome!

    I have a soft spot for the Pizza Pit Delivery guy since I've done that gig in the past. In Cha'alt it is probably more of a curse than a blessing.

    Of course, the cover of Cha'alt: Fuchsia Malaise which either depicts Ming the Merciless or that Venger Satanis dude always makes me smile.

    My favorite is the dig on Gillette with ga’allete. Calling out the behavior that damaged their brand fir years to come.

      This encouraged me to take a look at the books again and I missed the Borat + Zardoz reference. It is a subtle and genuinely fun little element.
